About The NAACP Creative Sole Scholarship

Vans established the NAACP Creative Sole scholarship program in 2021 in partnership with the NAACP. Vans, an original action sports brand and advocate for creative expression, offers this financial aid to African American students through the NAACP in recognition of their commitment to advancing equity in their community and the African American business community.

Each year, this scholarship provides financial support to talented and deserving students interested in creative fields across various disciplines including art, music, journalism, marketing, design, communications, photography, or architecture.

Selected applicants will receive a renewable scholarship award for four years on the condition that they maintain a GPA of 2.7 or higher. With this generous support, Van hopes to encourage and motivate the selected applicants to complete their college education and graduate.
