The Olseth Scholarship targets freshmen from middle-class families in the United States who meet the eligibility criteria and demonstrate financial need.

Application process

To apply for the Olseth Scholarship, students do not need to submit a separate application form. The scholarship committee evaluates incoming freshmen through their admission application. Therefore, students need to focus on submitting their admission application by the corresponding deadline.

Students can apply before the early action deadline of November 1, 2023 or the regular action deadline of January 1, 2024. Applicants who submit their application by the early action deadline of November 1 may receive an admission decision in January.

Students can apply for admission through the Golden Gopher or the Common Application. It is advisable to submit only one application as a double submission will hinder the admission decision.
