The Glasgow Caledonian University is offering the Global Talent Scholarships programme for the upcoming 2022-2023 academic year, providing exciting opportunities for EU and international students to pursue their passion for research and earn a PhD degree at GCU. The scholarship program is designed to attract top-tier talent from around the world who are passionate about research and academic excellence.
The scholarship opportunities available through the program can be classified into two categories. Firstly, there are advertised funded projects that provide scholarship support towards fees. These projects are typically advertised on the GCU website or other platforms and offer a unique opportunity for candidates to undertake research in a specific field of interest while receiving financial support to cover their tuition fees.
Secondly, the Global Talent Scholarship program offers the chance for candidates to be considered for a GTA award through the studentship competition application process. In this case, the selection panel evaluates the applications based on merit and potential and may award a GTA to an outstanding candidate whose research proposal stands out, even if they are not a perfect fit for the studentship project.
